UPDATE: I dont ride the bus very often, but, when I do, I download this app so I know where the bus is so I dont miss it. This app uses information transmitted directly from UTA busses and trains. There is a lag in transmitted info, so a bus may be closer than it appears on the app. It is as accurate as the info it receives. I find it very helpful as missing a bus is a real bummer. Many thanks to the developer for creating this very useful app for UTA users!!

Use this app almost daily to see if the bus is on time. Would love it if it also had links to the route schedules.

Dont download this app is horrible

Either I dont know how to use this app or this app is not useful at all. I am going to go with the later. I want to be able to pull up several routes at a time to see how they mesh with the transfers that I need to make. Pretty useless to just see one route at a time. I feel like if I add several routes to my favorites that they should show up together. Otherwise all this app does is show approximately, within the last 10 min where the trains and buses are. So not helpful!

2016 April: iRideUTA is still one of the top 5 critical apps for me. In the morning, I check to see where the train is and can wait in my warm car until it is about here. In the evening, I leave Salt Lake at various times, so seeing the bus and TRAX and FrontRunner has saved me many times. If I see a UTA stop, I txt UTA and it responds with a text, then I can see exactly where the bus is. Though the location button is broken, this is a great app! 2014 Dec update 2.1.1, the bottom left button showing my location no longer works. This is one of the most critical apps on my phone! I use it multiple times daily. This app saved me from standing in below freezing temp. The FrontRunner train updated every 7-10 seconds. Also, a connecting bus, 807 was accurate! Tap on a Green Pin to display direction the train or bus is going and other info. This is the most beneficial app on my iPhone! This app makes the iPhone relevant and valued. I found the UI very easy to use with good options to turn off unused routes and turn on stop indicators. The app loads fast. Well done Barclay and UTA!

Just downloaded this app in hopes that it would have a trip planner like the website does. No sign of anything like that. Id love for an updated version to include that. At least listen the general schedules of each line would be helpful.

This is a great app. The only thing that would make it the best would be the capability of purchasing our tickets from the app. I dont know if that is possible or not but it would be the only thing left in my opinion that would make this rating a full 5 stars.

I use this app to tell me where the train I want to get I. Is currently at. It does that. The ui to do that could be better, but it does it. What I REALLY wish I could do is buy away the ads. Let me pay you three bucks or whatever and make the ads go away. Id give another star if I could get rid of the ads.
